Introducing new desktop and mobile phone suite

At the Mobile World Congress exhibition in Barcelona, Teligent Telecom is introducing a new suite of desktop and mobile phone clients which provide a quantum leap in user experience for mobile PBX business users. The Teligent VPBX clients plans to be available on market-leading Mobile platforms like the iPhone, Android and Vodafone 360.

4 February 2010 – Teligent Telecom is announcing a new product suite for business users where ‘easy to use’ is the main vehicle for service success and the generation of operator revenue.

The suite supporting the Teligent network based PBX service would include four different clients: the desktop ‘Call Attendant’ client, the ‘Mobile Call Attendant’ client, the ‘Whereabouts’ client and the ‘Genius Operator’ client. All clients have been designed with the same ‘look and feel’ about them and are presented using a modern graphical user interface. In addition, all mobile PBX users would be provided with the Teligent Remote Control facility that includes the Personal Call Manager feature.

"Call attendants, as well as mobile extension users, can, through the Remote Control, have access to a key set of features, such as view incoming calls/queue, put calls on-hold, perform advanced searches for colleagues, initiate conference calls, transfer and connect calls", says Mats Lindberg, VP Product management at Teligent Telecom.

The clients plan to run on a wide range of desktop and mobile handset operating platforms such as Windows, Linux Mobile, and Apple, which ensure that all users may enjoy the service offering by the operator.
